"White Ironstone
Pitchers: An Identification Guide" -- By Bev & Ernie Dieringer,
published in 2003 by the White Ironstone China Association, Inc.
The only collector’s guide
for white ironstone pitchers, this book contains 295 shapes,
many with detail views and English registry dates when known.
There are 80 pages in a 3-ring binder, with 460 photos plus over
two hundred potter’s marks. The pitchers are from chamber, tea
and dinner sets which accounts for the variety of sizes. The
Index and Potter’s Index are at the beginning of the book for
easy identification of shapes. This book includes what we
believe to be the first coverage of late 19th Century pitchers.
